This is what kapil dev must have said to his companion on other crease.Today is 25th anniversary of india 's world cup Win.This win was special for indians as it was not simply expected.wordcup win over west indies in final has a lucid mystery behind it.This win was achieved because we had won semis,we won semis because of single handed effortof indian captian kapil dev.
I didn'nt know much about that win as i was not born!,morever bbc strike refrained all television spectator from watching on television.But zee news really played a nice role in reminiscing the past.It showed a 1 hour program reflecting how things turned around at that time.world cup semis win against zimbabwe was a miracle .kapil scored 175 single handedly when india was struggling to recover.Really 17/5 is a pathetic situation when half of team is in pavallion and half of team(bowlers mainly) is timid.

Cricket is a game of chance,But i think it was determination which superseded that factor.Kapil was altogether a different captain.First of all ,he decided to take batting (*not consulting his team)on a green turf with conspicous moisture in it.Morever wind was blowing at nice speed which surely hepls in swinging a ball.It requires great audacity to take such decisions.Secondly his top high profile batsmen gavaskar didn't even know whether he was playing in final 11.It was strange,as he didn'nt have enough time to mentally prepare himself for opening.After 2 strange decision was a mayhem ,with india 17/5 and expectations lying on kapil dev.
kapil was belligerent and determined.He outplayed in every section and kept on pummelling the ball in every sector.He hit 16 fours and 6 sixes and remained not out on 175 *off138balls). India Scored 266 in 60 overs.Such innings are dream innings which every cricketer would love to play.He also holds a record partnership of 106 for the ninth wicket with kirmani in that match.
Superb innings from indian maestro.

Effusion

It is silence and everybody is asleep
It is certain now that thoughts would creep
I am dying hard to reach out conclusion
but its difficult as thoughts are in fusion

Foxed!!!

My friend Mohit who acompanies me daily during our evening walk session asked me a very simple question."why do birds dont feel shock when they sit on electrical lines."

It was simple because i have faced this question several times in life and never bothered to find its answer.I clearly remember this question used tobe asked in our phyiccs viva practical in class 12?

our reply used to be amusing.My friend had amazed me during practical when he had replied"they do feel the shocks,i have seen several birds lying dead under the electrical lines"

This reply was innocent and childish one too.My reply used to be"circuit,circuit is not complete sir,how wud current flow then,how would they feel shock then".It was an intelligent asshole's reply as i coudn't substanstiate that how is the circuit incomplete when line is connected between the two legs.Seriously ,now I feel It was a stupid reply being an electrical engineer and intellegent one being the class 12th tyro too.I now feel I used to think conceptually even if I was logically incorrect. It is unfortunate that I still cant answer this bloody question.Though I still can guess :may be their feets are insulated....watever..
This time i will find it out.

Googling this questions actually has made me to laugh a great deal.There are many electrical engineers overhere trying to show their engineering skillls.
"Why do birds sitting on electric wires do not get electrocuted?" is the question which was posted on yahoo Answers about an year ago.

Discussing such replies has assured me that I am not stupid one when it comes to replying questions.I know ,it is really really crass to discuss other's reply over here.But i cant help it yaar,I am simply "vellah" these days and this post would definately help me remember "gone are those days"when I would be the busiest one.

A GROSS MISCONCEPTION

I went thru my previous post which made me to wonder as if I am a strong supporter of UPA Govtwhich is sincerely not the case.I can never publically support any poltical party.If NDA was in ruling party, my post surely would have remained the same.
One more thing.I just love to hate CPI even If it is publically.

so finally, the happening of inevitable comes into existence.petroleum related products prises have been hiked due to global alterations in crude oil price..I remember when UPA came into power, oil was around 30-35 dollars per barrel and it was expected to reach around 190 dollars per barrel by 2020 according to previous year extrapolations.But things gathered pace much earlier than expected.It touched around 135 within a year.It is really apoint of concern for growing economy like us.we have already been hit hard by inflation,it is 8.26% as of now.,will surely shoot up after this oil price rise.
Now a pertinent question arises "who is responsible for that and to wat extent???"
I think, we indians have the tendency to react sharply when something unfavourable happens.
Thanks to the media too which adds fuel to that news which it simply cant digest.Media being the fourth pillar ofdemocracy is expected to adhere to its obligations.Off course,presentation of true picture is wat is expected of it,it does that quite effectively too,but sometimes i guess one has to compromise with their principle and belief for the benefit of others.Projecting this as" hard core issue" not only deteriorate faith in govt,but also has long lasting repercussions.
I know,price rise of basic commodity is really a serious issue which cant be avoided in any sort of way.But faith and solidarity is something which is expected of us being the citizen of a country.Things have changed rapidly during last 2 months,but UPA certainly is not 'dumbass Govt' which is not trying to curb inflation,after all elections are to be held next year.Proper time should be given to the govt before reaching out at conclusions.They really have taken steps in that regards ,results of which is expected to be seen in atleast 3 months.Simmering this issue again and again will not only aggravate the situation but also give rise to new speculations which will have aftermaths on share market(vacillating around 1550),growth projection etc.
Really hike in 50 rs per cylinder is a gr8 burden on a common man.But as everybody knows OMC are bearing heavy loss these days,a cylinder of around 780rs is given in 395rs to a common man,surely that cant be streched for too long!.
Cutting down expenses of foreign,domestic travel (though,may be ostentatious) by politicians is just like a drop in the ocean, but still initatiave has been taken and one must respect that.Being the citizen we should adopt 'wait and watch' stategy.hehe..After all,this is wat we can do till 2009(election year) :).

"grishm avkash grahakarya."

This phrase used to rock about 10 years back. It is reffered as 'holidays homework of summer vacation'. My cousin studying in 8TH standard saddled me with responsibility of completing some part of it.Situation has really changed now.With India shining and getting hightech ,holiday homework is too getting hightech.These guys are made to use computer /internet for completing H.W.They are required to make power point presentation on topics like global warming,waterborn diseases,communicable diseases,revolt of 1857,etc.That is not the end,They are supposed to conduct surveys sotta abt diseases,population etc .one new thing i learnt today,they are taught vedic mathematics at this level.I thing it is truely a transformation of root education which is really good for them.practical implemenation of work is given credences rather than theorical spects. During our time,we were supposed to make notes and cut pictures in scrapbook.One thing i too remember we used to be given' cursive writing and sulekh' and teachers expected us to do 1 curive writing a day during vacation.But Iwas so much obedient that i used to complete that in first 2 days of vacation.I know,thats why i really have abysmal handwriting .My holiday homework stuff never lasted for not more than 5-6 days.After that ,cricket was the only game we were crzy for.Good thing abt summervacations is that one gets ample of time to play and have fun.really 2 months interval is enough for aperson to harness his/her talent.

MOOD

Mood is something which decides format of a day.Mood is of different colours and it keeps on changing as the day progresses.Mood may be cheerful and optimistic when one goes for an interview.It may be pensive and poignant when something doesnt go in one's way.It may be estatic and exuberant when things take course especially for u.It is pleasing and romantic while downpour.It may be lethargic and languid when sleep is not given its due time.But it is never stagnant .It keeps on changing according to situation.It is highly influenced by external factor apart from ones doing.
Best part of it,it is transformable.It can be transfrmed from one state to other.Like ,if one is feeling bad, listening songs surely pleases the mind.If one is irated and furious then a short stroll can really help in relaxing more.if ,one is feeling isolation,talking to a friend may help in alleviating grievances. even just a a movie of 2 hrs can create wonders.!
But,i dont how to deal with such situation when one is confused!

Juxtaposing to cricket,Foot ball is gruelling.If cricket is a funnygame then Football should be the funniest.Actually my universe of discourse ranges in some limited games,so can comment on such games only..I once heard Karan johar saying on his show' koffee with karan 'that cricket is very funny game which actually invoves 11 person chasing a singleball.Iplayed Football inthe morning today after a very long gap and realized that Football actually involves 22 persons chasinga single ball .So according to his definition it should be the funniest.Really,Football as a game requires lot of stamina .It is very tiresome and sometimes seems Foolish to try to get a control over a ball which has the tendancy to skip towards opposition.When we get in the depth of game we may realize that any particular player(lets say striker) gets the ball for not more than max 5 min.These are those '5 minutes 'which any person would love to utilize to show his dexterity.So a person tries hard and run for full 90 min in order to get those 5 minutes utilized for creating a mayhem for the opposition.
Thats why a Fat footballer is rarely found in Field as compared to a Fatcricketer.I just found myself breathless in first 5 minutes of the gaaaaaaame!It was highly tiring and frustrating when u run hard to fetch a ball and that ball simply skips to the person who is not running that faster but much cleverer.I know ,Football playing is simply a skill like other games which requires practice .I have got ample of time to learn that skill,will surely try to dominate the opposition tomorrow,if not by stamina then by enthu.

shocked?! a class 12 or 11 student would never be, as he/she knows these are the condtions related to equation of conics.
Before any one can jump out at any conclusion,I would love to tell that Iam not here to create mess related to MATHS .This equation actually reminds me of My life 's first interview I faced for B.tech entry.I reiterate ,life is an amazing thing which gives an opportunityto remind all ones past doing.Abhi,I just thought Many things related to last day,it reminded me of my almost First day of college ie interview day.This equation really played a significant role for my journey till here.One can expect the bombardment of Physics,chemistry,Maths question on interview table which is usually shared by 5 candidates.It is just a viva-voce and ur sitting arrangement, subject asked etc entirely depends on luck.I was asked MATHS,previous Batch was asked physics.My alloted roll no was 25055 and i was placed in the mid of 5 guys.It was apanel of more than 7 persons who were actually proffesors of different stream.I felt like chicken ready to be slaughtered in butcher's shop!.
First question was really a rhetorical one"do parallel lines intersect"
damn ,crazy! answer should have been "no".
First person gave "NO"
proffesers laughed profoundly at him.
I was shocked as i thought he was right.I really didnt understand the subject of homour there.
They kept on laughing,laughingand laughing,Professor abraheem seemed to be their leader, whom i recognized later as the HOD of my own department.

I was bambozzled while designing my reply,when my turn came I said " yes,they do, at infinity"
ohhgod! sky was the limit of laughing thereafter.They laughed profusely with double intensity!I tried to join the party but refrained myself from doing so thinking of some untoward happening.
same question was circulated for the whole group.
answer was" yes or no".but why laugh at both replies ,simply rhetorical na!
I was amazed but relaxed as such was the condition with everyone.A.C chillness helped us in relaxing us a bit more.Second question was really a respectable one as they asked" the condition for conics to be a pair of parellel lines"
I was joyous and elated, I replied with confidence and no stutter

Fortunately,no body from my group answered this question,which i thought was deciding factor for my selection (though waiting list no61,) .Actually it is simply a relative performance rather than absolute one which matters in viva-voce or interview of such type.
thanks to my brother! who had actually glued charts at every corners of my room.Written on it were formulae one shud remeber for cracking competetion exams.I simply cant forget conics formulae,atomic table ,trignometrical formulaes for rest of my life!.

end of an impasse?

vow! felt good and energetic after almost 16 hours of slumber.It wasfrom 9:30pm to 2 pm afternoon.16 hours of sleep not only indicates a complete revolution of an hour hand of clock but also indicative of some lethargic attitude too! But religiously speaking,I deserve it and almost my evryclasmate too.After a succesful completion of theory exams everyone seemed tobe running crazy abt the project report.The issues were many:first of all execution of project,then completion of report,then hardcopy,binding,then presentationandthat too in 10 days interval.Blv or not,10 days are very short for persons who never gave credences to such stuff during college timing.I know, such was the case with everyone.But the best part of this whole stalemate is that It i s finally overand out.It was officialy confirmed yesterdaywhen we were the last to produce our thoughts abt project.
Making of report is an issue .My desktop till now is full of gamut of files and i am just loving it.It gives a look of padhuka student. In negative sense it may be regarded as laggards giving final touches at last moments.hahah.I therefore took a screen shot as remembrance of my' last project'.I know, the previous statement is technically wrong as projects are not gonna leave me for rest of my life.
I also felt surprised when oneof my friend ,AG ,tagged me as padhaku guyand recommended me to have 'batcheet' apart from studies despite of the fact that I never topped or created wonders in college.Facts never need confirmation .Facts according to our college dictionary is" those who top in first year are upgraded to branch of their choice"I hope he is aware of such facts:)

vow! what an aroma outside.Just came after a short stroll on roof. Nice ,cool breeze blowing after such a heavy downpour.Weather is whimsical and highly unpredictible.After scorching hot day,had never imagined to realize again a new sensation.Weather has been showing such a mercurial attitude for quite sometime now.Technically speaking, weather Meterologist blame this as a departure of western disturbances..They hypocritically take a stand:" It is expected to continue for few more days as western disturabance has not yet departed".Its really a dillemma,why do they take always a such a defensive stand!
But how abt speaking philosphically or spiritually besides being technical.
I think,I would be branded as verbose if i start explaining it...morever situation is such an enticing and congenial that ideas won't dare to flow!
But,what adds to aroma is a fear of completion of some cirucullum stuff... its 3:15 by mywall clock .Loads of windows still open at my desktop including this one which i am giving preference to.Slowly but surely, gotta change my preferences as besides cherishing good weather and blogging ,'something on the verge of completion(though very far)' is awaiting ahead.

A Date with policewale

Life is an amazing piece of enigma.There is no denying the fact that it is full of wonders and intricacies .Worst part of it, no body knows which one is gonna happen nxt moment.Abhi, I resolved a newone which was moreorless an intricacy.
I was on my way back to home after dropping Rohit( my class fellow) to Rithala Metro station.He had come today to discuss project issues ,an intricacy which was known beforehand,luckily. I was driving My fiero ,numbered HR----,I dont remember its number.I neither had licence nor papers of my bike.Morever, I didnt have even a penny or my cell to Deal with any emergency or untoward incidentwhile driving bike.I think, I overspeeded my vehicle a bit,though I wore my studds helmet.I guess nothing was in favour of me at that point when Some police wallen(not traffic police) interrupted my way and forced me to stop.They were three guys of delhi police and asked first for My licence and vehicle papers.I never had dealt police walen ,that too on occasion of traffic issues.I simply said with innocence and great respect(hindi)"Sry Sir, i forgot,I was here to drop my friend, in sudden gush i forgot everything,even money".
"Now forgot to take ur vehicle then,Give me ur keys",he retorted.
I was certainly timid,thought tried to show confidence on my talks.I had understood from their talksthat they were simply interested in negotiating in terms of money .God knows, wat form of Mud are these people made of....I tried: "uncle ,papa in security,IGIT terminal".Though ,it was a utterly a false claim but i guess it managed to suffice them.

I was on cloud nine, I saved some 100 bucks today+ got some experience to deal with these people.I think these people expect gr8 respect although sometimes they are not worthy of it..
Every phase in life is a learning process ..I learnt few things
1)Firstly,Always carry ur licence,papers,money,cell,etc even for shortest journey while travelling.
2) deal police guys with gr8 respect.
3)Always be full in confidence while dealing with them.
4)lastly,If these people are not sufficed by ur lame excuses,"papa in security" walla funda may work,My brother too had once used it,he too got rid off them..
I know,I had no money, wat could they had done,he had to ultimately give my keys back on watching my papers etc.,but It could have created a mess in house.(May be I could have been deprived from my bike riding for somedays!.)...
Kool! ,I still cant figure it out, was that a thursday factor or sonepat factor or my talking pattern,which ultimately lead to resolution of an 'intricacy'.

Back Bencher or a Front Bencher?

Finally got some respite from exams heat,still last one is yet to bang.
It is whistle blowing dilemma for a person to select which way to go:' last bencher or a front bencher'.Life is an amazing thing which gives an opportunity to any person to remind all ones's past doing.So it's simply a refreshing source of entertainment,isn't it?luckily,I faced both the situation,It was full of drama, seriousness and frivolity.
It was reallly great to be a part of back bencher's team while being in school days ,especially in class12.Laughter was the greatest therapy which didnt require any special situation for its implementation .What should those person be referred who laugh unresonably.-'MAD ,PAGAL'.We accepted this tag with immense dignity.Every day was a funday,study was no more a concern in school timing,though situation used to overturn during home time where we were simply a 'padhaku'guys.Same old time table schedule of physics chemistry maths( Madam Aaye To Hum Sooye),english,comp was treated differently according to our whimsical attitude.Being a back bencher one certainly faces serious repercussions.
1)They are looked upon as a laggards who come in school just for the sake of enojyment(though true to very extent).
2)They are victims of teacher's ire when the blame game of"who said this" is initaited.
3)Backbenchers face severe rerimand of teachers in PTM(parents teacher Meeting) especially for breaking decoram of class.
4)Some people dont have control on their laughter,they may have to pay for it as i did.God forbid anyone from facing embarassment of holding ears outside the class as a punishment.It is an utter disaster.Worse point is in facing comments from juniors like"bhaiya aap,yahan par".one has no reason but to retort "abbe apna kam kar na".
so words like" sorry mam","i didnt say that","he made me to laugh" are always a nagging companion of back benchers.
I didnt realize how I became frontbencher while transforming from school days to college ones.Words like" stop talking,stop laughing,homeworkincomplete" simply dont exist in college dictionary book.Hence no scope of punishment too .Being a front bencher is matter of fun too.
1) One can comfortably see green board.
2)There is no one(teachers) to track u and ur doings and one is also not expected to track others( gals may be an exceptional case!)
3)One can project an image of padhaku guy even if he\she is simply not.
4)One can get previlege of becoming a president of some work association etc.Mind u,President is still a rubber stamp who is victim of dirty poltics... ha hahaha ha.
I think, Topic and content of discussion should have been biased towards" My college days".But,I wrk on lagging power factor.May get opportunity while being in office when i really miss my good old college days.
